BMX bikes from back in the day....

I picked up this Supergoose (86-87?) for $50 at a garage sale over the summer. The guy was moving overseas and was having a garage purge because he had to move out of his house. He knew the value, but he just wanted it gone to a good home. Totally out of the blue, random stop by garage sale deal. I didn't have the heart to tell him the grips were on backwards. Been using it to tool around the beach. It's been a blast.

That Goose is either an 84, or an 85. Numbers would tell the story for certain, damn that's nice! I'd love to have it, as back in the day I was given an 84 Mongoose Californian for my 11th birthday. It was littered with Pro Class goodies, including the wheels. Your bike was the only step above it, treat her well!

Bmx days in the 80’s were awesome! I can’t remember what year but I think my first bike was a team Murray and that thing was a turd. Then hutch pro raider then GT then the golden pk ripper with the odd shaped frame! Pk ripper best bike ever! There was 2 cement freeway barriers with a chain running across between the two to keep cars out of this empty lot and you were a badass if you could bunny hop it, lol I don’t know how many people left broken teeth on the ground. My hutch and pk were both stolen and I started getting into dirt bikes.
