I also know people in their 80s that can't eat their own Jello without help. Care to guess which group or current president is in?

Been several pages now and I haven’t gotten an answer. I’ll ask again.

Political opinions obviously don’t matter with this question, so remove your bias if you decide to answer.

Trump lost by 7 million votes in 2020. What has he done since 2020 to inspire millions of voters to flip their vote to him in 2024? What has he done to inspire the millions of voters who have turned 18 since then to skew heavily conservative like they never have in history? What has he done to prevent the millions who don’t like Biden, but hate him, from turning out in record numbers to once again vote against him?

If everyone, regardless of personal opinion, struggles to answer those questions, then the 2024 election is as good as done, and Republicans should look elsewhere. Their problem right now though is that Trump has a stranglehold on the party and he refuses to let it go.

Why does he need to do anything? Seems like Biden is doing the job for him at this point.

What has Biden done to get his voters from 2020 to abandon him and vote for Trump in 2024?

Has Biden, post 2020 election, done more things to lose more voters than Trump has, post 2020 election?

I actually think DeSantis can beat Biden in the general. I just don't think he can beat Trump in the primaries. And I don’t think Trump can beat Biden in the general. Republicans need to make some major decisions here and fast.

Perhaps everyone has grown tired of your endless strings of long winded, back to back to back to back posts.

Posts that just lead to more of your mega posting if anyone dares engaging with you.

You bait others into a bottomless pit.

Something to think about.

For someone who likes to comment a lot about sheep following a narrative, you sure do blindly follow a lot of posts and narratives that fit your agenda. Refusing to actually engage in a civil debate with someone who doesn’t align perfectly with your views. You just like to stay in your little echo chamber then wonder why Democrats keep winning.

Anyway, I’ve asked those questions to multiple people on multiple sites and a couple I’ve asked in person. I have yet to get any response besides something about Bidenflation. Which is of course ignoring everything negative Trump himself has done since his election loss. I have to conclude then that there isn’t an answer. Deep down, the MAGA crowd and hardcore Republicans know the truth. That Donald Trump can’t win in 2024. But for some unknown reason, they refuse to abandon him in favor of a more moderate candidate that makes sense and can appeal to the swing voters. So then they’ll sit there on election night in a year and a half and wonder how an 82 year old who might very well have early onset dementia and stumbles through sentences often mopped the floor with the 3 time Republican nominee.

If you’d like to have a civil discussion about those questions I asked, I’m here. I won’t even down vote you this time, I’ll instead upvote you. And, unlike many here, I don’t stay in my little echo chamber as a sheep, as evidenced by my active posting in non moto that leans heavily conservative.

You are asking me to discern what motivates the average voter in this country. I have no fucking clue. I do know this though, the knowledge level of the average voter is about a 3 on a 1 to 10 scale. No exaggeration. There are a couple good books on the subject that cite poll after poll where people are asked rudimentary questions about how our government works and the results are embarrassing as hell. If you think you know and it turns out that you really do then you could get a job on a campaign loading your candidate up on the moronic shit that people want to hear.

Your premise is flawed. Biden didn't win the presidential election by 7 million votes. We don't elect presidents that way, presidents are elected by the electoral college.

Only 44,000 votes in Arizona,  Georgia and Wisconsin kept Trump from tying Biden in the electoral college. Anyone who has been awake for the last 7 years should have a little humility when trying to make election predictions.

You are correct. Because the way we vote for POTUS is outdated at best and absolutely terrible at worst, someone can still win the Presidency when losing by 7 million, a higher population than all but 15 states. Republicans in California and New York are completely disenfranchised, as are Democrats in Oklahoma and Tennessee. 20% of the population decides our presidency, the ones in the swing states. This is why Trump tried to commit voter fraud and get just over 11K votes so he could take the entire state of Georgia.

Anyway, my overall point was 7 million is a ton of votes, and I was asking what he has done to flip them from Biden to Trump since Election Day in 2020. Or has he possibly done things that will turn some of his 2020 voters to Biden voters in 2024? Something like having criminal indictments? A second impeachment? Attacking Ron DeSantis for no reason at all? Calling on his supporters to storm the Capitol? RvW being overturned after his 3 SCOTUS appointees did exactly as he wanted them to? Could that possibly flip 2020 Trump voters to Biden in 2024? We will have to wait and see.

It's not a serious question. It doesn't matter how many voters change their mind about Trump or Biden,  it matters how many EC votes either of them get.

If you don't understand that it's basically a toss-up, I don't know what to tell you.

Yes. I know this. And the way they get those electoral votes is to win the state’s popular vote. Not looking good in Pennsylvania, Arizona, or Georgia. And those were just Trump endorsed candidates, not Trump himself. His lead in Texas from 2016 shrunk dramatically in 2020. If Texas goes, nothing else matters for the Republicans as far as winning the presidency.

How about the reason to vote for Trump is because we'll take anyone but Joe Biden.  See how that works.

As I’ve said many times before, Biden is someone people will disagree with politically. I sure as hell don’t agree with him on everything. Trump goes beyond politics. Beyond dirty politics and beyond corrupt politics. If we would line up the bad things each of the two has done, Trump’s list would be much longer. Nobody can call themselves a patriot or a constitutionalist if they currently plan to vote for Trump. It’s absurd Republicans haven’t completely abandoned him. Like I said, they’ll live in their own little echo chamber and support their far right extremist candidate and then wonder why a man who struggles to form sentences often wiped the floor with him again on election night in 2024. Instead of just seeing him for what he is. Someone who does not care about anyone, Democrat or Republican, Conservative or Liberal, but himself.
