Am I crazy, or does it look like the left side start straight will get ruts worn in it from where the track re-enters the stadium? And the right side straight (the one with a RH first turn) won't get rutted at all?

No ruts and a RH first turn, seems unfair.

Maybe they'd fix that before a new moto starts? But good point

Been to Z Max Dragaway many times… It will be interesting to see how they make safe (not sure if they are movable?) the concrete barrier walls between the lanes at this 4-wide Dragstrip…🤔

Definately will be weird watching MX/SX racing and then be back for the NHRA Pro-National 2 weeks later 🤓

That’s what sketches me out… Typically they don’t have 3’ concrete walls to land on if a guy goes off track in SX/MX between the track lanes 😬

This might be a track that all the racers are thanking the Man up above for keeping them safe !

I wish they would’ve built a more “hybrid” track like they have been branding it as. The MXGP round that was going to be at this drag strip to me seems much more like a hybrid of motocross and SX. They could even throw in a  couple triples somewhere to add in more SX flavor.

The Chicagoland track looks awesome and the LA Coliseum will have the big up/down hills but I feel like they kinda missed the mark with this one. Still excited for it, regardless! But I think they should focus more on the hybrid aspect other than just not putting in a SX whoop section.

It looks like a supercross track, nothing hybrid about it. Just call it what it is.

The concrete walls everywhere are sketchy as hell.

One side of the start and one of the split lanes will be clearly faster as is always the case and it will just amount to a follow the leader section where nothing happens.

Bet your fun at parties. The next two are more Mx than this one.

Cool. We aren't talking about the next two. What part of what I said do you disagree with, Frank the Tank?

It's just a split lane. You're not required to hit both lanes.

Excited to have more racing coming our way, not excited about this track. Also a bit nervous about the concrete barriers. Shit happens in MX/SX.

These are never hybrids. They just say that. MEC never was. They're just higher speed SX tracks is all.

When was this suppose to happen? Thats an insane amount of dirt for that track, looks like it would of taken 5 times the amount of a normal SX track layout.

You cant really get a motocross style track on a flat surface that all these are at except for the LA round sort of. Thats why they all look like bigger faster supercross tracks.

2016. It was the original venue for the USA MXGP but was later switched to the Speedway. That was a cool track, too! Even the track they did build shows how you can make a “motocross” track on relatively flat ground. You could add a few SX style jumps to this layout and have a much more SX/MX hybrid track.

I say let's wait until we see the actual track and hear the riders view of the track before we start blasting it....the more important part of any track is the level of racing it provides. If this track creates great racing what does it really matter as to what the style of track it is...

Chicagoland track map. It looks more MX related than Zmax.

Wow, that's quite the track, impressive  but I do see a few sections that will be very one lineded.

Why can’t we discuss track layouts and such without it being it being misinterpreted as “this sucks, canceling my subscription, etc”?

discuss away, but it's the people saying "They lied to us" "it isn't hybrid" that gets tiresome. It's as hybrid as it's ever going to get.

I personally was not into the tracks at all when they initially showed the track maps, but the animated tracks have changed my mind. Both tracks are really unique, really fast looking, and hopefully make for some epic Chase and Jett and maybe ever Cooper, Anderson, Barcia, Roczen and Plessinger battles.

That might be the best looking track(at least via track map) that I’ve ever seen. My goodness that track looks sick.

Playoff round 2 and 3 track maps look pretty damn hybrid to me. Hopefully they race as sick as they look.

the small jump on the start is giving me 90's vibes, and I'm here for it.

These tracks all look like they require a serious amount of dirt, how many more truckloads are they than a standard track, and why aren't they using more dirt for the regular season?
