Pretty cool to see John Tomac running the pit board for Deegan at their Colorado compound. That could be a lethal combo if they continue to train together.
Anyone else think Tomac and Deegan have similiar riding styles? I feel like they both manhandle the bike, use the clutch alot, and ride aggressive. Just something I was thinking about.
I wonder if training at elevation helps too? I was in Colorado for two years and when I went back to home to 0-500 feet elevation, I felt like superman. lol
What time do the Deegan haters show up?
Cool news.
I wonder when Webb shows up....lol
I think training with Eli & John will be a transformation thing for Haiden. He’s still young, fearless & has the “send it” mode down all the time. That’s great, but it can mean crashing a lot too…something Eli doesn’t do much. I think Haiden will learn a lot from Tomac.
Very similar riding styles. Learn from the Tomacs how to control the “beast mode” so he can finish a race without bonking is an incredible opportunity. Awesome to see.

Those don’t look like simple pre-season training whoops!!!
I’m pretty sure training at elevation is beneficial.
Surprised star let him not train with Swanny. But he’s the golden boy so he can do what he wants.
Definitely a great opportunity for Haiden but I wonder how the Tomacs will handle the social media/circus stuff
That is a great duo to train together. Both always have plenty of fitness left at the end of a moto, and to your point, their riding styles are similar, they both punish the #@$# out of their bikes. The biggest winner I see in this is Deegan, so much to learn/gain here and he is already off the charts.
Not at Southwick, he torched himself completely and was in survival mode. Learning to manage that effort in extremely demanding conditions takes experience
Does what he wants...maybe not? Some folks feel Star wouldn't let him race the mxon
Can you give another example of him bonking at the end of a race?
I remember seeing brian saying a while back that they may not continue to post all the stuff going forward
LAMAO
Love him or hate him, the "golden boy" over-delivered in his rookie year. Hard to find any negatives in "letting him" train with Tomac.
I'm sure Daddy Deegan is paying heavily for his son's training. I mean if I had the money and a kid with talent, I'd do it too.
Haiden probably made over $600k net this year , he don’t need daddy to pay for anything anymore
I dig it. Similar riding styles and it’s good to have a young fella around to get the vet fired up.
Pit Row
If I owned Star, and Tomac was cool with having Haiden come out to train, I would be all for it.
Haiden has been making money for himself for years. I doubt Brian has spent a red cent on Haiden’s dirt bike career in a decade.
If he lets John take the reins and Brian stays home, this could absolutely be a good thing for HD38.
You are 100% correct, Brian has certainly led him down the wrong path all along. That is so clear in his results up to this point.
Yea, bad dad. Lol
Training at altitude…great. Training with the Tomacs…priceless. I bet a little time outside of the limelight can’t hurt either. I hope Deegan races west coast so I can see it in person in SF.
He will. Better if he is in the series sooner then later. Barring injury of course.
You do what you want when you’re the golden boy. Monster could be dumping more money into the team just because of deegan and what he brings.
Well I hope he got as much in as he could before the weather turns.
They both are hard on the bike, but I don't think they have a similiar riding style. Tomac stands up a lot, is planted on the bike and doesn't move around a lot. Deegan looks loose.
What horseshit. Brian Deegan would suffocate without the constant attention and attention grabbing antics. That's been his whole 'career'.
