Anyone have a part # for the spring fork cartridges that come on the 24 KTM Xc bikes?  Looks to be similar to the 6500 kit minus the preload adjusters.

Try looking them up on Rocky Mountain ATV.

6500’s will be cheaper and they are still better than the new CC fork.

The parts diagrams and part numbers are on the KTM website.

The inner cartridges for the 2024 CC forks are not sold as cartridge sets.   You have 2 choices.  Either buy all the parts individually and assemble your own cartridges or buy the complete fork set, both legs sold as a pair.

To give you an idea the parts you'd need to order to build cartridges:

image-20230829113046-1

That's the part number for the complete forks.  I can only imagine the price.   So, yeah, all said and done, 6500's seem like the way.

MSRP on the complete forks is $1500. When I checked a couple of months ago they were back ordered until December. That was for a 250 XC-F. Springs and valving will be soft for MX.

AOMC so you might get 20% off when they run a holiday sale.

My local dealer confirmed 12/31 back order date a couple of months ago and also confirmed the price. I am sure it could change but for the last few months this is what KTM is showing.

$2,671 for a brand new set of junk 4CS straight from Rocky Mountain! No way they’re $1500 for a set of the new CC lol.

some people like to make things difficult… just order the 6500 through REP and be done with it!

That is what I thought but my local dealer is pretty good and confirmed it. I also see that general pricing (~$1500) listed worldwide on those parts.

Call Solid Performance in PA, a WP distributor in your area.   484-593-0095.  They can tell you exactly what will and won't work and can sell more individual parts than KTM shows on their fiche.

I think "fork" might be different than "forks"

yeah, even if you legit can get the CC forks at $1500, your still going to need to spring and valve them for MX and your weight/skill.  Money wise, you'd still be better off buying 6500's.  Unless you really just want a complete 2nd set of forks.

If you want to do it right i’ve got an extra set of CVs set up for VET INT 215lbs by Mark at REP with his parts catalog thrown at them and i would probably do 2900 if you caught me in the right mood.

$1500 is a solid deal for a complete set of forks. The 6500’s doesn’t come with springs so you’d need those anyway

I thought the 6500 came with springs?

I was curious if $1500 was really low compared to the Japanese bikes and it is except Yamaha has 2023 yz450f forks listed for about $800 retail per leg but the yz250f is $1200 per leg. That doesn’t make a lot of sense.

Once again,  is $1500 for a fork or a pair of forks?

Edit: I should have read FGR's post closer. His PN, as stated, is a complete set of forks and they are $1500.

BEF96E47-A769-4425-AB55-382CF79278DCI Called up AOMC, possibly December for the forks but the 20% off code works no problem.  4.4 springs come stock

I can’t see how there is anyway in hell you are getting a complete set of forks for that price. Someone either fucked up on the price or what the actual part you’re getting is.  Even seems kinda low for a single complete fork.

It is in line with the 23/24 YZ450f fork pricing.

Crazy if true. A replacement AER set is 3200. And replacement explor set is 2500.

Just doesn't make sense to me that they'd sell a complete set of forks for basically the same price they've been charging for 6500 Inserts.

My buddies that have bikes with these new forks can't say enough about how good they are, if you can buy them for $1,500 it seems like it'll pretty much kill the sales of 6500s etc.

Called Brandon from Solid performance and he was one step ahead of the game having ordered a bunch of forks already.   He got me hooked up with the EX350F forks because they came with the heavier 4.6 springs.  $1500 is the price for the forks.  I’ll send my shock in to get revalved when the forks show up.

Definitely crazy and we both agreed the price seems too good to be true so get ‘em before someone at the WP accounting office figures it out lol.

Awesome, they know more about WP stuff that anyone we've dealt with.  And always have plenty in stock!
