Not the most iconic, but one of the most rare. Hard to find a pic of David Bailey out of shape. 1st moto of the 83 250 National at Lake Whitney, with me behind him. He was lapping me late in the moto. I had crashed hard on the opening lap and was banged up. It was my first National and I was going to finish no matter what!

Wow, now I feel better knowing I've been emulating David Baileys riding style all these years.

Sean Dukes from Ga. & the big money race @ Muddy Creek. Riders from all ovr the se, Fl, oh, iL. . Traveled to big competition & money. The track put together an impressive list of sponsors.  Sean went 3-3 for ovr all in 125. 250 6-4 for 5th.  No rider dominated too much competition.  Sean Great style. 89 was the beginning of aggression or all out sprinting. image 94.jpg?VersionId=Mvxd5rgj.chYtmnveWL1jnZ

Gary Crider write up?

Sean was fun to watch. Had a smooth style. He put his bike skills to good use. He was a stunt rider at 6 flags over Georgia for years.

Other names

Todd bennick is daxton's dad

Aaron Yates went on to some success in road racing.

Joshua Steele developed an eye problem that ended his racing career. I think he ended up as a track builder for the ama arena cross series back in the mid 00's.

Cool info I thought someone on here would know the riders. It’s a 1st and rare 6 page write up in MXA August 89.  Mike Brown 411, Jim  Chester 811, Kenny Kizzar 157, Cad Lough 49.image 95.jpg?VersionId=j.SXd5.8X
