Younger than Deegs, first time in America, on a new to him KTM - USA chassis/engine spec and riding somewhat conservatively to protect his MXGP day job points leads.
Both Coenens were VERY impressive. And please don’t use the track shortcut penalty as an excuse. He clearly ran the markers over then said there weren’t any and cut it short. It was a huge time advantage that nobody else was using the entire race.
That can’t feel good for Deegs.
I wonder if any moto-journalists will ask him how he felt about getting yarded by Lucas?
I did not know Deegan raced. Seemed he was spectating, he was on the side of the track so much.
I see what you did there.
Can’t use the learning year excuse on Lucas

Honestly the shortcut plays into it in another way, he couldn't beat Coenen or Jett even with a cheater line!
I find myself being more interested in watching MX to see how douchee boy screws up again each moto. lol
Why not? Lucas has a full MXGP season under his belt. It’s not like he forgot how to ride a bike when he stepped foot on US soil. Lucas also beat Hunter Lawrence and the rest of the AMA riders, but it seems you (and many others) are overly invested in how Haiden Deegan does. Did he hurt your feelings?
I mean, two fast guys from Belgium come over and race, Jett smokes his class, Sacha took a moto win and ya all are talking WAY more about Deegan than that. As much as you want Deegan to lose, he’ll be fine and life will go on. I’m convinced at this point that if Deegan had a career ending injury, it would bring my a smile to many of your faces. It’s pretty sad.
The obsession with Deegan is getting weird in here. I am starting to think its actually Deegan's people starting these threads to keep everyone talking about him..Who else would be thinking about him this much?
Another completely dumb-ss thread
The real question, how does Mirtl feel? He had it all! Nothing to do but wait and let the money print.
Actually I admire Deegs drive and will to win.
It’s just all the talk has been Jett vs Deegs then Coenen steps in and poses a bigger challenge immediately.
And no I don’t wish injury on anyone.
Yeah, it's reallllly hard to figure out why so many people dislike a guy as nice as Deegan.
😄
I definitely don't want Deegan to have any career-ending injuries. That would be terrible for him, his family, the sport, etc.
I do like how Hunter & Jett largely ignore 38 and speak much louder as a result. Deegan will continue to improve week-to-week and so will Hunter & Jett. Not a Deegan fan, but I respect that he's a phenomenal talent on a dirt bike.
What’s up with this getting up to 3rd gear shit? Is 2nd gear really all these guys get up to on a 450? Or is Deegan the exception and still trying to ride the 450 like a 250? That’s not a habit that a person can change overnight.
A couple sessions on the DBP double boost port 04 cr125 would cure him. Dead bottom then @ 7k sharp hit then hyper shift on the Long mid. Ovr rev is flat too much much fun shifting on the bubble & way faster.

Three races on a 450 third in points, I think he is good with it.
Third is great for a rookie in the series, except for all the trash talking like he's going to crush everyone when he joined the class. That's what gets him all the hate. Alessi didn't really trash talk as much, but the "Believe the hype" stuff really brought him down.
Pit Row
I don't think Deegan is the one who should worry about losing to Lucas. Lucas has been racing the top dogs in MXGP for 1.5 years now. Lucas raced Jett and Hunter on US soil first actually. He did pretty good then too.
The one I think who should feel bad is Prado. He's going to have to show a little more the rest of outdoors or he's going to be the clear 2nd fiddle guy on that team, at best moving forward.
I doubt he cares nearly as much as some of you guys do. Lol.
Not only did he finish ahead of Deegan, he was closer to Jett time-wise in both motos than Deegan has been in six motos so far.
It wouldnt be so bad if he didnt run his mouth for so many years. Moto is a great equalizer, thats why we love it over other motorsports.
He will learn, or eventually leave and do stunt shows.
I admire it as well. I can't stand all his BS WWE nonsense and arrogant interviews, BUT at the same time I was bummed when he went down in that first moto. I wanted the battle to continue. It's a much better series with him in it.
Just wish, like the majority of tenured moto fans, he'd shut up and let the riding speak. More of the second moto interview and none of the first moto interview.
Also, stay on the effing track lol
So let me get this straight. You all are wondering how Deegs feels? And you just hope as hard as your little heart can hope that lil’ Deegs is feeling so so so bad?
Hahahahaha omg you can’t write this shit. 🤣
…did you read the shit that can’t be written?
Third is good but not really good enough for how he's acting. The last 3 250 outdoor champs that moved up all were leading the points after round 3. Haiden is 32 points back after 3 rounds. If Prado's bike doesnt blow up he'd be 4th in points. Again, he's doing fine but far from lighting the world on fire
I was wondering if Deegan had even heard of Coenen before last weekend...
Do you think Haiden will be faster or slower on a 450 in his 2nd season on the bike?
Mostly depends on how 17 rounds of SX go for him I guess. He had multiple months of focus and prep on outdoors this year. To me he doesn't need more raw speed, he just needs to build consistency and smooth out to on the 450 to bring the speed he already has over the whole day, because he is already fast af.
Scary part is.. Jett said on pulp he didn't even do 30 min motos yet between the weekends due to recovery and he's starting to feel better with his ankle, this isn't just bad news for Deegan, this is bad news for everyone.
The more important question here should be how does Prado feel going from the 2nd best guy at Pala to 45 and 40 seconds behind the leader at Thunder Valley. Yes, last week weekend was a setback, but me and everyone else expected him to fight for wins this year. How does he feel that Lucas comes to the US for one weekend and does that while he has his hands full way outside of the podium range?
Idk after moto 1 seeing him cry idk
Post a reply to: Wonder how Deegs feels knowing he got beat by Coenen let alone Jett
