Until we actually know what happened let’s keep the comments cool. Denny has been far more on the rails this last year or so and as someone who drives a zillion miles a year I see some of the absolute stupidest things happen on the roads even when you keep a cool head. Heal up Denny and I’m glad he’s going to be ok.

Same here, been in this chair as a paraplegic for 21 years now. There's quite a few of us in chairs on this site. People don't see all the "behind the scenes" shit that we go through. Bowel & bladder care / accidents, I've pissed or shit myself at the office on multiple occasions and it's embarrassing. The back pain from the injury, shoulder pain from pushing a chair all day, lifting myself into my truck, the bed, shower, toilet, etc. Leg spasms, urinary infections, losing your independence and that sinking feeling when you go somewhere or to someone's house...

If his local dealers are like mine and want damn near $150 for a Dunlop. I buy all mine at the races for $80-$90 and they'll usually mount it for an additional $10. Not all dealers are created equal.

Riding dirt bikes is fun, regardless if it is a 77 elisnore 125 or the newest ktm. Yes new technology has made bikes better, but i dont really feel like im having more fun then i did in the 80s. I get the racing aspect and thats what they build, race bikes. Local racing i would say anything made in the last 10 or 15 years is competitive for most. Buy and ride what you can afford, keeping up with the Jones is probably over rated. For whats it worth, i ride a 19 450sxf, 05 yz250, and bigy 190...

Can you please, please find me a report that puts the pollution of small gas lawn equipment in context with the pollution of cars, factories, forest fires, and other sources that California faces? Or maybe one that explains how our already taxed grid will be able to handle the increased load from charging all of these electric powered devices? I get it, we all want to reduce emissions, but just blindly putting sweeping policies out that are completely outside the realm of feasibility for political leverage isn’t helping anyone or making progress. You know who this is going to hurt...

Thank you Newsom for going after the major issues California feces, I mean faces. Small Engines are obviously the biggest source of pollution. Lets stop wasting our time and resources with forest management and focus on whats really hurting our environment. Also, we need to follow the lead of more progressive places, like China.

As someone who works on upgrading and maintaining our current electrical grid and natural gas lines, I’d say that’s a wee bit optimistic. Our company just spent the last 10 years replacing natural gas lines in Chicago and suburbs. Still not completely done. Water mains and services are 70 years old in some neighborhoods. Even if we were to abandon these projects and go all in on electric, I’d say we’re looking at 15-20 years before every house on the block can have 2 electric cars and electric heat. The miles of high-line wires and towers alone will take years...

The conspiracy theorist in me thinks that we got crappy sounding 4 strokes shoved down our throats just so we wouldn't be as mad losing that beautiful 2 stroke sound. The reality is a 4 stroke is a better powerplant for dirt bikes than a 2 stroke and an electric motor will be better than a 4 stroke. Doesn't mean we have to like it.
