To be honest I'm not sure. If I had to guess I'd say that it's just an old bike that the Leading Edge Kawasaki guys built last year. Saw pics of it last year. That or it could be an old race bike from back in the day that was freshened up that also has newer parts.

Either way it's cool. Would love for the team to put a video out of Alessi riding it. Even better would be to let him race it at the last round of the series if his place in the standings is secured.

I'm not really a fan of Kawasaki in the 4 stroke era but when it comes to 2 strokes, I love them all.

Those kawis ran so good! 2003-2005 I just never cared for the 80cc style chassis they built.

I have an 03 KX250 with a v-force and FMF Fatty and she runs REAL GOOD bit definitely a mid-range motor that falls flat on top..... something I'll be fixing real soon when I send my jug off to Varner or Eric Gorr.

As for the chassis, imagine being 6'3 and riding one....but what's funny ive read this a few times but I really don't notice the bike feeling so small. I absolutely LOVE the bike though ...wish it had a motor like the YZ. Ive owned every last gen Japanese 250 2 stroke and this Kawi is dam good!

We have an 05 kx250 and I'm 6'1 and my dad is 6'3. Neither one of us has had an issue with the chassis at all. That 05 motor is pretty strong!

My 2003 KX250

You were right about midrange motor...they had a nice clean bark! Good sx motor....but it doesnt take much cylinder work to make them scream.

79 CR 250. Good power but terrible brakes.

Such an insane bike, I would like to know the weight, kick starter is so thin and like what they did with the brake pedal. Fox Suspension doing the work also. Cool ride.

Not to mention the aluminum tank and holes in the swingarm. I don't have any info on the bike. I just think it's cool. The forks looks kind of weird. Doesn't look like it would handle all that well but who really knows. It's not the prettiest thing but it has the cool factor going for it.
