No, I'd say it's a 250 sized piston.

CR500 engines have an 89mm piston std.

685 /700 Maicos / Zabels / MHs/ MEGAs by Rubig are (generally) 100mm - some over bores I've heard of up to 103.8 /104, and JBR had 108mm slugs available. And, strokes of around 86 / 87mm, though to go to the 700 + cc sizes they seem to go for longer strokes, over ever more massive pistons.

The 'gap' either side of that piston in that bore is a lot more than 5.5mm, in that picture
