How that kid didn't break atleast his collarbone is beyond me. Wow. Those 6d helmets are damn good helmets and he STILL had a brain bleed. Wow.
Or am I delirious from lack of sleep last night.

Helmet + neck brace = collar bone? sternum? spine? concussion + brain bleed?
Those things are bear traps and all i can think of is what other injuries would have come along with his concussion had he been wearing one.

I'm not sure if David still feels the same way or not. But I do know it usually takes something bad to happen to make people rethink their stance on safety gear. We've been lucky for quite a few years now. Let's hope we continue that way.

So that's just what I know- and it made sense to me when I read it. So helmets like the 6D, Moto 9-Flex, V3 and V4, Arai seem safer to me than Shoei for example does.
Buuut, I'm not a doctor. But the current movement in helmet technology seems like a step into the right direction.
