Andretti opened their Silverstone base last Thursday.

What is the point behind this if they were rejected? Perhaps I haven’t read up enough on what is actually happening but my understanding was the teams said no to Andretti.

They also plan on fielding an F3 and F2 Team in order to bring up American talent.

They also showed renderings of their new US headquarters that's opening next year.

Red Flag with 6:44 to go in Q2.

Sainz spun out in the final corner, which sent him into the barriers.

Interesting sprint race, for a few laps ole Lewis thought he was cookin, until Max’s battery started working 😂. Then it became Hamiltons nightmare

Newey has resigned from Red Bull. Not happy with the Horner situation, so walks.

Biggest chequebook in the pits wins.. Has to be Ferrari, surely?

F1 has always been a political animal.

But the, he said she said, bullshit concerning Horner, and it's ensuing turmoil, is just anothed reason I'm slowly losing interest in a series that I've followed since the early 60's.

Apparently Bottas and Zhou are both out of a drive next year. Hulkenberg taking one spot. The other spot might be Sainz.

No, rumors of him stating to upper management he is resigning. Just a bunch of whispering going on.

Spoiled alright.

Jacques Villeneuve lived in the same neighborhood as them and he mentioned the following story once.

Growing up Lance had a karting track that was something like a 15 minute walk to get to. You would think he'd walk or bicycle there.

Nope. Hitched a ride on the helicopter.

I think Villeneuve then said something along the lines of he's lazy and he knew right there and then that Lance didn't have what it takes.

Fast forward to present-day, and he doesn't have it.

Lance might step away from the grid, but stay in the sport in a manager type role. Hopefully, he'll be better at that.

In other words Daddy still makes life easy on Lance. I am assuming they will have a Race Director who manages Lance on the weekend at that point. That kid is dumber than a box of rocks and can't get past temper tantrums.

Quoted in Auto Motor Und Sport in Germany and on the BBC over here. Not sources who lean themselves towards facebook bullshit. Neither article has been recanted or edited either, which usually happens if someone kicks off with them about content.

That’s largely based on a quote which I think it was Marko said that Red Bull couldn’t go after Sainz because they couldn’t match the offer Audi had made him.

Yep, 65 years old and going to start a whole new project on another team? Would take him 2-3 years just to get it going off in the direction he wants.  My guess is retirement at this juncture. Doesn’t want the politics headache

If he's planning to retire, why would he have negotiated early release from his current team instead of just going on gardening leave or actually retiring outright? It's pretty clear he has plans to do one last job before he calls it time on what has been an incredible career.
