You've been triggered by some banter and objective comments.

We'll know the Haiden verdict in 3 years or so.
Maybe so. But then you get guys like Hannah shit talking today's riders and their lack of toughness. Hey Bob a big jump for you was maybe 30 feet and you weren't even going as fast as a top 85cc rider of today. He actually has the balls to shit talk guys who race tracks that have a 110ft jumps. It's just stupid. But then again I would be bitter too if a 16 year old kid with one pro race under his belt had a net worth 10 times of mine.

So many jealous old washed up men in here hating on a 16 year old kid who is super talented, tough as nails, and humble. Is it because of his Dad or the social media? Which is a way that alot of younger people make their money? What has he ever done to get shit on by a bunch old guys on a message board? What is even funnier is the ballslurping of AC9 who was known to be a major dickhead until he got humbled in the pros and started doing his Dollar Store Pastrana shtick. Hate Brian all you want, but his kid has done nothing wrong to warrant the shit talk from the Ensure drinking vital members who still think guys from the 1980's were the baddest dudes around. Start the downvotes fellas.
Vital: we need to grow the sport!
Also Vital: who the fuck does this little piece of shit think he is? Marketing himself and growing his popularity on social media? Boo!
LoL I actually don't think Vital has gone that hard on him. Go check Instagram or FB if you want to see some real scumbags cheering that a kid crashed his brains out.

Seems like something isn’t adding up. 20+ minutes into his first outdoor moto, running 11th place & he thinks it’s a good idea to try a jump that nobody is doing all day with no rear brake? That was definitely not the move IMO!
But what if he would’ve made it?!
He still would have been in 11th place.

I stood at that section for a while during qualifying. NOBODY was trying to hop that wall. 250s or 450s.

JT$ talks about it: https://racerxonline.com/2022/08/30/breakdown-ironman

"It was finally time for Haiden Deegan to go pro. What'd you think of his debut performance?

I wish he hadn’t decided to try that silly jump with two laps to go and nothing to really gain, but kids will be kids, right? I firmly believe he had Friday’s Scouting Combine in his head when he was eyeing it up, as Chance Hymas and Evan Ferry both narrowly pulled it off. The trouble is, the jump wasn’t the same. My advice here would be when you see the leaders of the race and multi-time champions not executing a tricky jump, there’s a reason. Everyone knew that jump was technically possible under the right scenario but clearly the risk/reward wasn’t favorable. I chalk it up to inexperience mostly."

Damn, does anyone in the Midwest not eat ding dongs for breakfast lunch and dinner? Look at the last picture. Also, ya think Brian is yelling at Danger boy to not destroy the bike he rode in his first pro race? He seemed to be very attached to the bike he finished his amateur career on and from outside, looks to be pretty nostalgic about the kids bikes and wanting to enshrine them forever. Haha.

The bike hit pretty hard on the back wheel, upside down. Shock probably pulled apart from that hit.
Based on the new photo sequence from Vurb just posted I'd say you're exactly right. Another crazy set of circumstances you'd never expect to see !

Brian's worked up about the bike that rightfully is Brennan Schofields bike? As Tony Alessi once said "the universe will get even"

Man, that was ugly. Glad he is OK.

My thought on the smoke was brake fluid from whatever earlier contact Haiden had that took out his rear brake.
Of course, I am not Columbo so I could be wrong.

He still would have been in 11th place.
He would still be in 11th place but Brain who was lurking there would have a video to monetise and bragging rights....

Brain is a problem for Haiden.

Seems like Brain, or lack of, is a problem for you too.
